About

For the past 3 years, we've had so much fun at our single-day art camps in the summer that we decided another year was too long to wait - since it is a little colder, this time we're bringing the fun indoors!

Creating Friends Christmas
is FREE to all who register,
and will be held on Saturday, December 13th from 3pm to 7pm
at Bellewood Presbyterian Church in Bellevue.

We are open to ANY child or young adult with special needs, regardless of their age or ability, as well as any friends or siblings between the ages of 4 and 12.

Kids will enjoy making a few holiday gifts and crafts (adapted or with help from their volunteer if needed), as well as some fun Christmas music and games while moms/dads/caregivers can either stay for the fun or enjoy a few hours of uninterrupted holiday shopping!
Beginning at 5:30pm, we invite the entire family to join us for dinner and a chance to visit and take pictures with Santa.

We hope to see you there!

Creating Friends is a ministry that provides kids and young adults - with or without special needs - an opportunity to enjoy music, games, food and crafts in a loving, relaxed environment.

While our area is blessed to have many programs geared toward those with special needs, our hope is to offer a place in which young people of all abilities are able to spend time together, and where families (moms, dads, siblings and caregivers) can enjoy some much-needed respite and the joy of seeing their children make new friends.

As a ministry of Trinity Church and Emmanuel Church, we desire that every participant, no matter what their beliefs, will experience the love of Christ through our events.  We believe whole-heartedly that all are created in God's image and for His glory, and pledge to treat each and every one of our participants with the same love, dignity and care that we have been given through Jesus - we truly hope you'll join us!
